Case Study · US Telehealth Brand · New York & New Jersey · 2025
A Month of Content That Never Names a Drug.
Twenty posts, one nurse, five pillars and four rules, for a category where careless words carry real risk.
The Brief
A US telehealth brand offering clinician-led weight-loss care in New York and New Jersey needed a month of content. The face of the brand was a nurse with more than ten years of experience. The goal ran in one direction: awareness, then trust, then the confidence to book a consultation.
The Rules
Health advertising punishes careless words, so the rules came before the ideas:
- No medication names. Not in captions, scripts or on-screen text.
- No promises. No results, no timelines, no “lose X pounds”.
- No judgment. Every script starts from a conversation, not a diet.
- Soft asks only. “Book a consultation whenever you’re ready.”
The System
The pillars: how the service works, the clinician’s point of view, safe medical education, emotional reassurance, and booking confidence. Each week had one job:
- Awareness and process clarity: “What actually happens in your first consultation?”
- Trust and medical education: “Why most weight-loss plans don’t work long-term.”
- Human warmth: “You are supported here.”
- Booking readiness: “I feel ready to book.”
The Scripts
The nurse’s videos were written to sound like her, not like an ad. One opened: “If you’re nervous about booking a consult, this is for you.” The voiceovers followed one shape: hook, curiosity, emotion, how the service helps, and a soft ask.
Freelance project, Nov–Dec 2025. The client’s name is withheld. This was a content system; no performance results are claimed.
