Creative
The Ads, Up Close.
14 creatives I wrote and directed for Meta ads, and what each one did. Where an ad didn’t work, it says so.
-
“Before you repaint…”
41 chats at $2.27
Won the 50/50 test, with the lower click-through rate.
- The idea
- Sell the fix, not the shine. A hard before-and-after, and one easy ask: send a photo of your car on WhatsApp.
- My role
- Angle, copy, design direction and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- 41 WhatsApp chats at $2.27 each. The other ad in the test clicked better (2.20% vs 1.71%) and brought 4. A person who sends a photo of their car is worth more than a click.

“Design isn’t enough.”
12.4 serious buyers per 100 chats
The best lead quality in the account.
- The idea
- For families about to spend their life’s savings: a beautiful drawing is not a well-built house.
- My role
- Concept, script and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- 129 WhatsApp chats; the sales team rated 16 as serious buyers, the highest rate of any ad.

Custom blinds, done right.
62 chats in April at $14.01
Five cards, one job each. The carousel I went back to after my $112 mistake.
- The idea
- Five cards, one job each: what, where, why trust us, the free offer, the ask.
- My role
- Concept, copy, design direction and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- 12 calls at $16.65 in the January trial. Relaunched on its own in March, then 62 WhatsApp chats in April at $14.01 each.

“Launch your UAE business from Houston.”
25 chats at AED 46
Four drafts before the final. 12 of the first 13 chats were the right people.
- The idea
- One creative, one clear price, one ask. A $3,999 decision starts with a question, so the ad opens a chat. Each draft cut something until only the offer and the ask were left.
- My role
- Creative, offer framing and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- The final version ran: 25 WhatsApp conversations at AED 46 (about $12.57). Volume stalled, so I paused before scaling. The four drafts never ran.

“They just lack depth.”
Didn’t run
The studio’s own cars, one idea per slide: depth, not shine.
- The idea
- Most cars don’t look bad; they look flat. Each slide moves from the problem to the promise: correct the surface, don’t polish it.
- My role
- Angle, copy and design direction.
- What happened
- Part of the first positioning set, April 2026. It never ran: all three campaigns used the before-and-after ads instead.
Real photos of the studio’s cars, finished with AI. Concept and copy are mine.

“25 years… every client starts with understanding.”
Rs 25 a chat, the cheapest
The head of sales, on camera. Trust, not price.
- The idea
- Put a real person in front of the buyer’s real fear: being misunderstood by the people building their home.
- My role
- Concept, script and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- 119 chats at about Rs 25 each, the cheapest in the account; 11 rated serious.
Filmed with the Tameer team. Concept and script are mine.

“Your clients. Your schedule. Your space.”
Didn’t work: 7 calls at about $44
The angle is the part worth keeping: a professional step forward, not a rented room.
- The idea
- You’re not renting a room; you’re taking a professional step forward.
- My role
- Angle, copy, design direction and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- Two call campaigns in June 2026, four ads: 7 calls on $306.57, about $44 each. Too expensive for the client.

“Most shine fades. Ours doesn’t.”
Didn’t run
Show the difference before you say it: the same car, half corrected.
- The idea
- Show the difference before you say it: the same car, half corrected.
- My role
- Angle, copy and design direction.
- What happened
- Part of the first positioning set, April 2026. It never ran: all three campaigns used the before-and-after ads instead.

“Market ke low rates = low quality.”
278 chats in September alone
The sales team’s biggest objection, answered head-on.
- The idea
- Price was why buyers left. So the ad said it first: low rates come with one thing, low quality.
- My role
- Concept, Urdu script and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- The price series brought 508 of the 1,165 inquiries; this video alone brought 278 chats in September.
Filmed with the Tameer team. Concept and script are mine.

“Two ways to make Dubai your home.”
Not run yet
Two offers, one change per ad, so every test means something.
- The idea
- For investors in Pakistan: a 2-year and a 10-year residency path, side by side, so the buyer picks the size of the step.
- My role
- Offers, copy and design direction.
- What happened
- Built in September 2026 for the client to choose between. No results yet.

“Most cars don’t need repaint.”
53 chats at $3.01
Rebuilt with the owner’s four notes.
- The idea
- Same promise, sharper words: scratches, not oxidation; no “restored”; real before-and-after photos.
- My role
- Angle, copy, design direction and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- The rebuilt ad brought 53 WhatsApp chats at $3.01 each, the most of any ad in the account.

“Cloudy headlights make your car look old.”
3 chats on $8.33, a short test
Name the small problem the owner already sees every morning.
- The idea
- Name the small, visible problem the owner already sees every morning.
- My role
- Angle, copy and design direction.
- What happened
- Both versions ran for a few days in June 2026 and brought 3 WhatsApp chats on $8.33, while the campaign budget went to the ad that was winning.

“Before you repaint” (the truck)
Didn’t work: 4 chats at $5.65
My best-clicking ad was my worst one.
- The idea
- A clean, premium shot of a real customer’s truck under the same hook. It looked better, and it clicked better.
- My role
- Angle, copy and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- The best click-through rate in the test (2.20%), but only 4 WhatsApp chats at $5.65 each. The before-and-after version brought 41 at $2.27.
Real photo of a customer’s truck, finished with AI. Concept and copy are mine.

“Low construction rates…”
Didn’t work: 112 chats, 3 serious
Leading with price brought price-checkers. Kept here on purpose.
- The idea
- Same objection, wrong door: leading with price invited people shopping for price.
- My role
- Concept, script and the Meta campaign.
- What happened
- 112 chats, and the sales team rated 3 of them serious: 2.7 per 100.
Filmed with the Tameer team. Concept and script are mine.
